By the afternoon, return to Merzouga and check into your hotel or riad for the second desert night. Dinner and breakfast are included, giving you a comfortable stop before the long drive back toward Marrakech on Day 4.

After breakfast, leave Merzouga and begin the drive back toward Marrakech. Rather than retracing the outbound route, the tour heads through Rissani before continuing to Nkob, a village on the edge of the Anti-Atlas at the start of the Draa Valley.

The road then follows the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm oasis, with villages, kasbahs and cultivated fields lining the route. Continue toward Ouarzazate, where the road rejoins the outbound route before climbing back into the High Atlas Mountains.

The final part of the drive crosses the mountains and descends toward Marrakech, where the tour ends in the afternoon or evening depending on traffic and stops along the way. Drop-off is at your hotel or riad, or the nearest vehicle-accessible point, marking the end of your 4-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour.
